The biomass circulating fluidized bed boiler is one of the main products of ZBG. The boiler has the advantages of high fuel adaptability, low pollution discharge, sufficient combustion and long running time. CFBC boiler uses a fluidized bed, an apparatus that mixes coal and air with a sorbent such as limestone during the combustion process, to facilitate more effective chemical reactions and heat transfer. In a fluidized-bed combustor, combustion occurs when the mixture of fuel, a sorbent and fuel ash particles is suspended by using a continuous stream of primary combustion air to create turbulence in the bed. The gas cushion between the solids allows the particles to move freely, giving the bed a liquid-like (fluidized) characteristic. The main components of a typical CFB boiler consist of a combustion chamber, a cyclone separator and a return leg for re-circulation of the bed particles. The combustion chamber is enclosed with water-cooled tubes and a gas-tight membrane. The lower section of the of the combustion chamber is covered with refractory.
